Indonesia’s Komodo National Park includes the three larger
islands Komodo, Rinca and Padar, as well as numerous smaller
ones, for a total area of 1,817 square kilometers (603
square kilometers of it land). The national park was founded
in 1980 to protect the Komodo dragon. Later, it was also
dedicated to protecting other species, including marine
animals. The islands of the national park are of volcanic
origin.

KOMODO DRAGON TOUR - DEPARTING FROM BALI:
You will depart at approximately 6:30AM from Ngurah Rai
Airport (Denpasar) in Bali, and you will over fly Nusa Penida,
Gili Islands, Mount Rinjani (Segara Anak Lake), Moyo Island,
Mount Tambora, and Komodo Island landing at Labunan Bajo.
Ground activities are as per the itinerary below; returning
back to Bali that same afternoon/evening.

06:30-08:45 Flight from Denpasar to Labuan Bajo
08:45-09:00 To Harbor and boarding Glass Bottom Boat to
Rinca.
09:00-10:30 Ferry to Rinca Island.
10:30-12:30 Exploring Komodo Dragon guided by Ranger.
12:30-13:30 From Rinca Island to Bidadari and with lunch on
board.
13:30-14:30 Snorkeling in Bidadari Tropical Reef.
14:30-15:00 From Bidadari back to Labuan Bajo.
15:00-15:15 From Labuan Bajo Harbor to Airport.
15:15-17:30 Flight back to Denpasar.

From Selaparang Airport in Mataram you will over fly Gili
Islands, Mount Rinjani (Segara Anak Lake), Moyo Island,
Mount Tambora (active volcano), and Komodo Island landing at
Labunan Bajo. Ground activities are as per the itinerary
below, returning back to Lombok that same afternoon/evening.
